About Us
Meet Jon Bennett
Jon has been in the rail industry for over 24 years. Originally a country lad, growing up in Orange, he had admiration of all things mechanical. It started with his father's 5-inch gauge live steam engine, and has grown to full size commercial and heritage locomotives and rollingstock. He now lives in Maitland and a fully qualified driver trainer & assessor. He is also Project Manager on the restoration of the 10 Class locomotive No. 18.
His career highlights include consulting to NSW State Government, Linfox, Boral, SSR, Gemco, Graincorp, and Junee Railway Workshops.
The Complete Rail History
Complete Rail started as Above Rail Infrastructure in 2018, consulting to the NSW State Government during the drought, however Jon soon recognized there was a wider need for consulting and training, for both in the above and below rail sectors.
Complete Rail have also expanded into rollingstock design, fleet servicing & optimization, as well as compliance and basic track maintenance.
